Loretta M. Forlenza, 76, of West Pittston, died Oct. 14, 2008, at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital surrounded by her family.
Born in Plains on June 25, 1932, she was a daughter of the late Raymond and Mary Gallagher Pambianco. She was a member of St. Mary, Help of Christians R.C. Church, Pittston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Rudolph, in 1991; brothers Ray, John and Billy.
She is survived by her sons, Rudy Forlenza and his wife, Phyllis, Exeter; Guy Forlenza and his wife, Mary Alice, of Hughestown; daughter Loretta Amico and her husband, John, of Pittston; Cindy Vough and her husband, Atty. Mike, West Pittston, with whom she resided for the past 13 years; brother Gerry Pambianco, Plains; sisters Mary Ann Cresho, of Florida, and Sylvia Kuznaik, of Camp Hill; grandchildren John Amico; Gina Bowen; Angela Stevens; Jill Forlenza; Jennifer Lee and Jason Forlenza; Michael, Matthew, Nicholas and Jessica Vough; great-grandchildren Richie and Zach Bowen; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral was Oct. 18 from the Recupero Funeral Home, West Pittston, with Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary Help of Christians Church. Interment, Italian Independent Cemetery, West Wyoming.
