Thaddeus (Ted) D. Kuna, 51, Pittston, died March 13, 2008 at Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
He was born in Dupont on July 15, 1956, a son Helen (Bakanich) Kuna and the late Thaddeus Kuna. He was a graduate of Pittston Area High School, class of 1974. He was a member of the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Dupont. He was a social member of the VFW, Post 4909, Dupont. Thaddeus was employed in the local garment industry. His passion was playing in the local area bands, especially Slaves.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by his wife, the former Jean Marie Strasburger, who died August 22, 2002.
Surviving are his mother, Helen Kuna, Dupont; two sons, Jason Kuna, Avoca, and Joseph Strasburger, Scranton; two daughters, Amy Ziskowski, Archibald, and Jennifer Kuna, Scranton; sister Alexis Keeler, Duryea; four grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held Tuesday, 9:30 a.m. from the Kizis-Lokuta Funeral Home, 134 Church St., Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart Church, Dupont, at 10 a.m. Friends may call on Monday from 5 to 8 p.m.
