Mary Mollitt , 94, of Moosic, died May 7, 2008, at Mountain View Care Center in Scranton. She was preceded in death by her husband, Walter Mollitt, who died in 2002.
Born in Old Forge on January 7, 1914, Mary was a daughter of the late William and Sarah Legg Sanderson. She was raised by her aunt, the late Edith Sanderson.
She is survived by daughter Edith Hokien and son Carl Mollitt, sister Helen Karp, six grandchildren and one great-granddaughter, and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by brothers Dave, Tom and Frank Sanderson, and sisters Verna and Martha Sanderson.
Funeral services were May 10 from the Kearney Funeral Home Inc., Old Forge. Interment, Springbrook Cemetery, Springbrook.
