Carl Tucker, 66, of Duryea, passed away April 19, 2008 at his home. His wife is the former Dawn Marie Sharpe. They had just celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary on March 6, 2008.
Born in Moosic, he was a son of Dora Barhight Tucker, of Moscow, and the late Harold Tucker. He was a graduate of Moosic High School, class of 1959.
He was formerly employed by Barber Ford and retired from Deitzer Kitchens, Duryea. He was a member of Hollisterville United Methodist Church.
He was preceded in death by his son, Carl Joseph Tucker; and a brother, Francis Tucker.
Surviving in addition to his mother and wife are son, Carl Ryan, at home; son, Brad Donald, at home; daughter, Michele Tucker Denicola, of Scranton; daughter, Mary Margaret Mazzaccaro, of Duryea; six grandchildren; sister, Sally Tansits and her husband, Frank, of Lenox, Pa.; sister, Laura Lee Sabitus, of Arizona; sister, Jean Marie Bruce and her husband, Robert, of Moscow; sister, Ardyce Motisko and her husband, Monte, of Moscow; brother, Dorrance, of Moscow; brother, Blaine and his wife, Debbie, of Moscow; brother, Keith and his wife, Carol; of Moscow; nieces and nephews.
Funeral was April 22 from the Piontek Funeral Home Inc., Duryea. Interment, East Canaan Cemetery, South Canaan.
