Joan Perrins, 67, Wilkes-Barre, died September 6, 2008 surrounded by her loving family.
She was born in Harding, on June 19, 1941, a daughter of the late Charles and Marie (Parry) View. She was a graduate of E.L. Meyers High School, Wilkes-Barre, and was employed by Penn State Belt and Buckle and Atwater, both located in Wilkes-Barre for many years. She was a member of Central United Methodist Church, Wilkes-Barre.
She was happily married to her husband, Dave, for 46 years. She was actively involved within her community and was a member of the Wilkes-Barre Crime Watch Association.
She was preceded in death by a sister, Marlene Garvey; and brothers Charles and James View.
Surviving is her dear husband, Dave, at home; sons Dave and his wife, Jennifer, Mountain Top; John and his wife, Helen, Wilkes-Barre; Robert and his wife, Lori, Wilkes-Barre; Michael and his wife, Nichole, Nanticoke; grandchildren John, Joshua, Bethany, David, Emma, Robert, Asia and Michael; brothers Leo View, Wilkes-Barre; William View, Wilkes-Barre; Joseph View, Wilkes-Barre; numerous nieces and nephews.
Interment at the convenience of the family.
