A Victorian Spring Tea will be held on Sunday, April 20, at 2:00 p.m. at St. Maria Goretti Banquet Hall, Laflin Road, Laflin.
A variety of finger sandwiches and goodies baked by the ladies of the parish will be served in a buffet style setting along with coffee and tea.
Victoriana Lady, Lisa Lewis, will give a presentation on 19th Century fashions, etiquette, life style and manners. Lewis has been honored to be selected into the National Registry of Living Historians and has given many presentations through out the area. She appears fully dressed in authentic period fashions and accessories.
There will also be door prizes and a handmade quilt raffle that will be chanced off on the day of the tea.
The cost is $17.00 per person. Tickets must be purchased in advance. Table reservations for groups of 8-10 people can be made when you purchase your tickets.
