Marlene L. (Knick) Nesgoda, 56, of Dupont, died August 12, 2008 at her home.
Born in Dupont, December 3, 1951, she was a daughter of Lucille (Jezorski) and the late Joseph L. Knick Jr., who passed away in June of 2008. She was a member of Holy Mother of Sorrows Polish National Church, Dupont. A 1970 graduate of Pittston Area High School, she was employed as a secretary for Geisinger Wyoming Valley Hospital.
She is also survived by her son, Brian, and his wife, Tracy Nesgoda, Dupont; daughters Lori and her husband, Glenn Charnogursky, Harding; and Christina Nesgoda, Dupont; brother Joseph III and his wife, Allison Knick, of Harding; father-in-law Frank Nesgoda Sr.; brother-in-law Richard Nesgoda Sr.; several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Frank, who passed away May 6, 2005; and her sister-in-law, Deborah Nesgoda.
Funeral services were August 15 from Kiesinger Funeral Services, Duryea, with Mass of Christian Burial at Holy Mother of Sorrows Polish National Church, Dupont. Interment, parish cemetery.
