Anna M. Mirra, 73, formerly of Tunkhannock Avenue, Exeter, passed away Monday, January 21, 2008, at the Laurels Health and Rehabilitation, Kingston, where she had been a resident.
Born in Exeter, she was a daughter of the late Dominick Sr., and Josephine Naples Mirra. She was a member of St. Anthony of Padua Church, Exeter, and attended Exeter schools prior to her disability.
Anna had participated in various organizations including the Muscular Dystrophy Association, the United Cerebral Palsy Club and the Association of the Blind, Scranton.
She was preceded in death by her brothers Angelo and Dominick, Jr.
Surviving are her devoted sister, Mary Salerno, West Pittston; brother Anthony, Exeter; and her sister-in-law, Rita Mirra, West Pittston. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews and cousins.
Funeral services were Jan. 24 from the Gubbiotti Funeral Home, 1030 Wyoming Ave., Exeter, with a Mass of Christian Burial at St. Anthony of Padua Church, Exeter, with the Rev. Joseph Sibilano, O.S.J., pastor, officiating. Interment, West Pittston Cemetery.
