Frances M. (Prekel) Narsavage, 92, a lifelong resident of Pittston, died June 27, 2008 at Little Flower Manor in Wilkes-Barre.
Born in Pittston, she was the daughter of the late Frank and Frances Dembek Prekel. She was a graduate of Pittston High School, Class of 1934, and prior to her retirement she was employed in the area garment industry. She was a member of Holy Rosary Church, Scranton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Stanley F. Narsavage, who died on August 22, 1984; an infant son; son Stanley, Nov. 21, 2007; five brothers, Stephen, Anthony, Joseph, Charles and Stanley; and one sister, Helen Korick.
Surviving are sons Frank, and his wife Bonnie, Moscow; Peter and his wife Georgia, Morgantown, WV; and Stephen, Hughestown; a daughter, Mary Ann Long and her husband Blair, Wapwallopen; a daughter-in-law, Mary Narsavage, Dunmore; seven grandchildren, three great-grandchildren, a sister, Sister Theresa Marie OSF of the Bernadine Sisters, Reading; nieces and nephews.
Funeral will be held Monday at 9 a.m. from the Piontek Funeral Home, 204 Main ST. Duryea, with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. in Holy Rosary Church, Duryea. Interment, parish cemetery, Duryea.
Friends may call Sunday from 2-4 p.m.
