Matthew and Sophia Starinsky are celebrating their birthdays this month. They are the children of Steve and Janine Starinsky, Duryea.
Matthew turned nine today, September 7 and his sister Sophia celebrates her seventh birthday on September 13. They have an older brother and sister, Stephen and Bridget.
Maternal grandparents are George and Dolores Kubasko, Pittston Township; paternal grandparents are Mary Starinsky, Duryea and the late Steve Starinsky Sr.
Matthew takes drum lessons at B&C Music, plays baseball with Duryea Little League and is a member of the Duryea Wildcats C-Football Team. Sophia is a member of the Pittston Stoners Soccer Team. Both are enrolled in the SS. Peter and Paul Religious Education Program, Avoca and attend Pittston Area Schools.
