An installation ceremony was held recently to install the new officer of the JLW Mountain Laurel Lions Club. Vickie Kwiatkowski, a resident of Miners Mills, was installed at Club President for the 2008-2009 club year. Kwiatkowski has been an active member of the club for the past six years. She has served the club as Second Vice President, Fund Raising Chairman as well as chairing other committees. Nancy Baiera of Pittston was elected First Vice President. Other newly installed officers are Kim Tambur, Second Vice President, Karen Daniels, secretary; Marion Licata, Treasurer, Barbara Silvi, Financial Secretary, Lion Tamer, Anne Gerrity; Tail Twister, Monica Chulvick, Membership Chairperson, Eileen Yurish, One Year Directors, Dr. Leona Castor and Kariann Iskra, Two Year Directors, Jean Bohac and Marcia Steer.
