Lauralee (Tucker) Sabitus, 62, of Apache Junction, AZ, and formerly of Old Forge, died July 29, 2008, at the Odyssey Hospice, Mesa, AZ.
Born in Taylor, September 22, 1945, she is a daughter of Dora (Barhight) and the late Harold Tucker. She was a graduate of Taylor-Moosic High School. She was self-employed in Apache Junction, and also worked for Securitas Security, Phoenix, AZ. She was a former employee of the City of Apache Junction, and a former volunteer EMT for the Mount Cobb Jefferson Twp. Ambulance Department.
She is also survived by daughters, Alicia A. Kobilinski and husband Andrew, Moosic; Roseann Burger, Hawley; Roxanne Gallagher and husband Michael, Duryea; and Sherry Strok and husband Joseph, Moosic; brothers, Dorrance Tucker, Sterling; Blaine and wife, Debbie Tucker, Lake Ariel; and Keith and wife, Carol, Daleville; sisters, Sally and husband, Frank Tansits, Kingsley; Jean and Robert Bruce, Hollisterville; and Ardyce and husband, Monte Motisko, Hollisterville; grandchildren; Stephanie Kobilinski, Nicholas Sabitus, Christopher (CJ) Burger, Dominique Juliano, and Ashley Burger; several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by her husband, Joseph Sabitus, who died May 27, 2006; brothers, Carl Tucker and Francis Tucker.
Funeral will be held Aug. 7, with services at Kiesinger Funeral Services, Duryea. Rev. Norman Faux of the Centenary United Methodist Church, Hamlin, officiated the service. Interment, East Canaan Cemetery, East Canaan.
