Julia Ann Smith, originally of West Wyoming, died, June 15, 2008, in Moreno Valley Community Hospital, Moreno Valley, CA.
Born in Lynch, KY, on May 23, 1921, she was a daughter of the late Andrew and Susan Toth Bagonyi. She attended Kentucky schools. She was a member of Our Lady of Sorrows Church, West Wyoming. She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her husband, James Smith; brothers John, Steven and Andrew Bagonyi; sisters Anna DeRosa, Mary Szorcsik, Helen DaSilva and Catherine Casciano.
Surviving are sons Joe and his wife, Susanne, Harding; Jim and his wife, Jacqueline, Pittston; a daughter, Ann Marie Shaver, and her husband, Robert, Moreno Valley, Calif.; grandchildren Charles, Joseph and Robert Smith; James and Melissa Smith; Corey Smith; and numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were June 21, from the Peter J. Adonizio Funeral Home, West Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Sorrows Church, West Wyoming. Interment, Denison Cemetery. Online condolences may be sent to .
