Wyoming Area Varsity Football Team recently competed in the 21st Abington Heights Weight Lifting Contest.
The Varsity Warriors finished in 4th place. They competed against five-time National Champions, Glen Mills; Abington Heights, Jim Thorp, Mid Valley, Riverside, Scranton Prep, North Pocono, Wallenpaupack , West Scranton, Tunkhannock and Upper Perkiomen.
The Warriors freshman team also competed in the Second Annual Abington Heights JV Weight Lifting Contest on Saturday, March 22. They competed against Scranton Prep, Wallenpaupack, Abington Heights, Tunkhannock, Riverside and Mid Valley. The freshman team finished with three first places, six second places and five third place finishes.
