Barbara Anne Martin, 59, of Pittston, died September 7, 2008 surrounded by family and friends at the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital.
She was born in Jamaica, NY, on June 6, 1949, a daughter of the late James. J. and Anna (Eason) Martin. She was a high school graduate, and was a former resident of New York and worked at the local phone company as a clerk.
She was also preceded in death by her brother, John Martin. Surviving are her sisters, Anne Marie Brull, Veronica Olszewski and Mona Schlect, all of New York; brothers, James J., Delaware, Robert E., Connecticut, and Thomas Martin, New York.
Arrangements are by the Kizis-Lokuta Funeral Home, 134 Church St, Pittston.
