Reverend Richard J. Cirba, pastor and his parishioners of Holy Trinity Parish, Swoyersville held a planning meeting to prepare for their summer festival to be held on July 10, 11 and 12 from 5 p.m. to 11 p.m. nightly on the parish grounds, 116 Hughes Street, Swoyersville.
A giant food court of ethnic and American food will be available along with a bake sale, games of chance, bingo in the church hall, novelty stands for children and adults and theme baskets. Enjoy live nightly entertainment from 7-11 p.m. on Thursday with John Stevens and DoubleShot; Friday, Ray Suda Orchestra and Saturday, George Tarasek and the Polka Partners.
Festival raffle tickets can be purchased at the rectory. Over $3000 in cash prizes, a handmade quilt and afghan will be raffled off the last night of the festival.
