Josephine P. Pisano, 88, of Pittston, died June 14, 2008 in Doylestown Hospital, Doylestown.
Born in Plains on Oct. 11, 1919, she was a daughter of the late Anthony and Bertha Tolaczko Linski.
She attended Plains schools. Prior to her retirement, she was employed in the local garment industry. She was a member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Pittston.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Philip R. Pisano, in 1967; sister, Catherine Lutinski and brothers, John, Tony and Ed Linski.
Surviving are son, Philip C. Pisano and his wife, Mary Ann, Hughestown; daughter, Rosemarie Fantuzzo and her husband, Matthew, Ivyland, Pa.; grandchildren, Joanne Keenan, Charles Fantuzzo, Philip J. Pisano and Lisa Gilchrist; seven great-grandchildren; sisters, Adeline Linski, Pittston, and Ceila Morris, Buffalo, N.Y.; brothers, Joseph Linski, Plymouth, and Gerald Linski, Drums; numerous nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were June 18 from the Peter J. Adonizio Funeral Home, West Pittston, with a Mass of Christian Burial in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Pittston.
