Ann Haefner, of Wyoming, passed away April 26, 2008, due to natural causes.
She was born, August 3, 1929, a daughter of the late Sam and Louise Ferrara of Pittston. She was a longtime member of Trinity Episcopal Church, West Pittston, where she was active in Ministry of Reader, Ministry of Greeter, Parish Life Events Team, Women of Trinity, and Stewardship and Property Committees. She worked many years in the local garment industry.
She was preceded in death by sisters Fay Coniglio, of Hazleton; Theresa Brown, of Pittston; Rose Kolativa, of Wilkes Barre.
Surviving are daughter Luanne Russin; son John Russin and his wife, Teresa, of Carbondale, IL; sisters Sara Wench, Exeter; Mary Ardiere, Pittston; Grace Ardiere, Wyoming; Carmella Janiga, Pittston; grandchildren Timothy, Daniel, Abbe, Nathanael and Hannah.
The funeral was held April 30 from the Howell-Lussi Funeral Home, West Pittston, with services from the in Trinity Episcopal Church, West Pittston. Entombment, Denison Cemetery, Swoyersville.
