Helene P. Muska

Helene P. Muska, 89, Scranton, died Sept. 23, 2008 at Moses Taylor Hospital, Scranton.
Born in Scranton, she was a daughter of the late Nicholas and Catherine Schipak Hunjo. She was a graduate of Scranton Technical High School. She was a lifelong and one of the oldest members of St. Vladimir Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church, Scranton.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Joseph M. Muska, in 1983; three sisters, Anna Hunjo, Julia Ward and Mary Linko, and three brothers, William, Nicholas and Peter Hunjo.
Surviving are a son, Joseph N. Muska, Cedar City, Utah; daughter Jane Frushon, Pittston; two grandchildren, Cory and Adam Frushon, Pittston; one great-granddaughter, Veronica Burkhardt; nieces and nephews.
Funeral was Sept. 27 from the Chomko Funeral Home, Scranton, with the Office of Christian Burial in St. Vladimir Ukrainian Greek Catholic Church. Interment, parish cemetery, Minooka.
