The Peppermint Patties from the Pittston David Blight School of Dance recently competed at the Faces of the Future Talent Competition held in Fort Washington. They competed in the 10-12 age category. They won a gold plaque for their group free-style funk, silver for group tap, silver for group lyrical, and silver for group jazz. They also won individual medals for their solos. Their instructors are Mrs. Vanessa Walker and Miss Christina Koons. The studio also received the competition award for costumes.
