The ladies of the Pittston Senior Center Red Hat Belles organization donated toys and stuffed animals to the Toys for Tots program for the fourth year in a row.
Toys and monetary donations by the Red Hat Belles went to the Wyoming Barracks of the United States Marines Corp.
1st Sgt. Jim E. Lanham and Sgt. Rufino Xavier were on hand from the USMC to receive over 50 toys and 50 stuffed animals from the ladies.
According to Lanham, all the toys and money collected get distributed to area organizations like the Salvation Army for distribution to children in our area and seven other counties in northeast Pennsylvania.
