Edna Guye Syreika of West Hyattsville, MD, passed away on April 6, 2008. She was the wife of Stanley Syreika.
Born in Duryea, she was the daughter of the late John and Kate Echalk.
She was preceded in death by brothers Edward, John, Leo, Alfred, Teddy, and sisters, Stella Dopkin and Josephine Dopkin.
Surviving are a son Raymond Guye and wife Mary Rita, Cincinnati, OH; three grandchildren, and seven great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews; two sisters, Sophie Zbylicki, Duryea and Lucille Stephanovich, Harelack, NC.
A Mass of Christian Burial was held at Our Lady of Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Reading, OH. Entombment, Gate of Heaven, Cincinnati, OH.
