Richard and Dolores Slatky celebrated their 40th anniversary on May 11. They were married in the Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Duryea by the late Rev. Dr. Frank Mikus.
Richard is the son of Edward Slatky and the late Rose Slatky. He is retired from the Procter and Gamble plant in Mehoopany. Dolores is the daughter of the late Louis and Dorothy Doxbeck. She is employed as a cleaning person at the Pittston Area Intermediate School.
Their marriage has been blessed with two daughters, Lori, married to Robert Kasisky of Falls, Pa., and Tami, married to Paul Bonczek of Avoca, Pa. They also have four grandchildren, Casey and Kelsey Kasisky and Nicole and William Bonczek.
A family was held in their honor.
