Bruno Marcellini Jr., 65, of Pittston Township, died June 13, 2008 at Mercy Hospital Hospice, Scranton.
Born in Pittston Township on July 23, 1942, he was a son of the late Bruno Sr. and Ann Marie (Bicchielli) Marcellini. Bruno was a member of Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Dupont. He was a graduate of Pittston Township High School. He served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War. He worked for many years at the Cascade Tissue Company in Suscon. Bruno was a member of VFW Post 4909, Dupont, the Rams Club, Suscon.
He is survived by his wife of 40 years, Connie (Bekanich) Marcellini; son, Ronnie, Pittston Township; daughters, Laurieann, Pittston Township; Julieann Bingham, Dupont; his grandson, Jessie Donahue; brother, Joseph Marcellini, Wilkes-Barre; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services were June 17 with Mass of Christian Burial at Sacred Heart of Jesus Church, Dupont. Interment, parish cemetery. Arrangements are made by Kiesinger Funeral Services, Duryea. Online condolences may be made to
