Elliott M. (Hoppy) Perrego, 79, of the Outlet Section, Harveys Lake, passed away March 14, 2008 at Veterans Administration Medical Center, Plains Township.
Born in Huntsville, he was a son of the late Milton and Dorothy Jenkins Perrego. He attended Dallas Township High School. Before retiring, he was employed as a shop foreman by Roth Novelty Co., Wilkes-Barre. He was an Army veteran of the Korean Conflict. Elliott was a fine craftsman who made many cherished keepsakes for his family.
He was preceded in death by sister, Maude Perrego; brothers, Howard and Emerson.
Surviving are his wife, the former Delphine Rachel Rees; children, Richard, Hunlock Creek; Kim Janosky, Lake Twp.; Jolie Perrego, Hanover Twp.; Brett Perrego, Harveys Lake; grandchildren, Elliott Wright, Lake Twp.; Sarah and Halley Perrego, Pittston; Elizabeth, Richard, and Alyssia Perrego, Hunlock Creek.
Funeral services were private. Arrangements by the Richard H. Disque Funeral Home Inc., Dallas.
