Students in Anne Paoers’ seventh-grade religion class at Wyoming Area Catholic School were recently honored to hear Deacon Jim Cortegerone from St. John the Evangelist Parish, Pittston, speak to them about vocations. Accompaning Cortegerone was Joseph Mosely, a seminarian studying in Baltimore. The students were interested to learn the steps in becoming a permanent deacon as well as a priest.
