Students at Humpty Dumpty Kollege celebrated both Chinese New Year and Mardi Gras in February. During the Mardi Gras celebration, the children wore beads and made masks to celebrate the occasion. The children learned that, according to the Chinese calendar, each year is represented by an animal. The year 2013 is the year of the snake and the children made and decorated their own snakes.
