Richard F. Cook

Richard F. Cook, 74, formerly of Hughestown, passed away Saturday, January 19, 2013 in Kindred Hospital, Wilkes-Barre.

Born in Hughestown on September 12, 1938, he was the son of the late Walter and Catherine Hoban Cook. He was a graduate of Hughestown High School and served in the United States Air Force. He retired from Topps Manufacturing in Duryea and was a member of the Teamsters Union. He was of the Christian faith.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his step-father, Albert Lynch.

Surviving is his brother Walter Cook and his wife, Diana, of Duluth, MN; one niece; one nephew and numerous cousins.

Funeral services were private. Interment was in St. John the Evangelist Cemetery, Pittston, with a Blessing Service in the cemetery chapel.
