Red Mill defeated Ashley Machine 2-1 to claim the regular season championship and the No. 1 seed going into the playoffs this week at Emanon Country Club.
Mike Lazevnick shot a four-under-par 30 and Guy Fasciana had an even-par 34 to lead the Mill. Len Coleman (36) and Alex Brogna (37) led Ashleys.
Selenski Insurance defeated O’Connor Plumbing 3-0 to gain a bye in the first round of the playoffs. Mike Champi (37) and Tom Jorda (38) led the winners. Tom Kerrigan had 38 for O’Connors.
Powers kept their playoff hopes alive with a 2-1 victory over State Roaders with Clem Parulis (39) and Walt Volinski (41) leading the winners. John Polak and Bill Tighe each had 40 for State Road.
Bryan Construction secured a playoff spot with a 3-0 win over Cookies Travelers. Thomas McCafferty Jr. (39) and Jack Moran (43) lead the winners. Tim Stotts (38) was low for Cookies.
The first round of playoffs start Thursday, Sept. 12.
