It was the Great White Way on the West Side when Wyoming Area Catholic hosted “Broadway on Wyoming.” The program was directed by opera countertenor Thomas Fallon. Fallon’s 20-day tenure at Wyoming Area was made possible by the Pennsylvania Council on the Arts as an Advanced Rostered Artist with the NEIU 19 and the Parent Volunteer Associaton of the school. He is an Artist in Residence for school districts and cultural organizations throughout the state and has worked with more than 10,000 children. The students, in grades pre-K to 8, performed numbers from “George M,” “Sound of Music,” “Joseph and the Amazing Technicolor Dreamcoat,” “Annie,” “Fiddler on the Roof,” “Wizard of Oz,” “Lion King” and “On Broadway.”
