MU imaging students certified

Thirteen of the Misericordia University December 2012 medical imaging graduating class, including a Moosic student, recently passed the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) national certification examination in radiography.

ARRT is the world’s largest credentialing organization that seeks to ensure high quality patient care in radiologic technology, according to the agency. It tests and certifies technologists and administers continuing education and ethics requirements for its annual registration.

Members of the December 2012 graduating class from Misericordia University are Justin Thomas, Moosic; Jessica Pugliese, Scranton.; Gabriela Vitorino, Whitehall; Christopher Arakas, Walden, N.Y.; Kaitlyn Lane, Nanticoke; Maria Conte, Wilkes-Barre; Jamie Dougherty, Scranton; Gabrielle Joseph, Drums; Angela Waardenburg, Forkston Twp.; Shelby Klaben, Jordan, N.Y.; Frank Genovesi, Larksville; Jeffrey Williams, Thompson; and Roxanne Mahle, Tunkhannock.
