Race, procession, food and music at today’s Felittese Festival in OF

The Felittese Association of Old Forge 26th annual Felittese Festival continues today, sunday, Sept. 8 in Old Forge. The festival runs from noon) to 10 p.m. and features the music of Sweet Pepper and the Long Hots.

The 2nd Annual Race for Our Lady of Constantinople will begin at 9 a.m. at Old Forge High School Football Field (301 First Street Old Forge). Registration begins at 8 a.m. The 5K race and fun walk will benefit victims of the Boston Marathon, Our Lady of Constantinople Chapel, Prince of Peace Parish and other local charities.

At 10 a.m. there will be a Mass at St. Mary’s Church, Old Forge, to honor Our Lady of Constantinople followed by a procession of the statue ending at Our Lady of Constantinople Chapel at the Felittese Fair Grounds (145 Third Street, Old Forge).
