Applications for Wyoming Area High School Student Parking Permits are now available in the Principal’s Office and can be picked up Monday through Thursday between the hours of 8:15 a.m. and 12:15 p.m.

Any student with a valid driver’s license can apply for a parking permit.

You will need the following information: Completed application form with both student and parental signatures, valid driver’s license, vehicle registration and vehicle insurance card. Copies of these articles will be kept in the Principal’s Office.

A new application must be completed at the start of each new school year.

Permits will be offered first to incoming Seniors between July 22, 2013 and August 2, 2013, first come, first serve basis. Then beginning on August 5, 2013 permits will become available to any underclassmen interested in securing a parking spot.

WA RETIREES

BREAKFAST SET

The Wyoming Area Education Association of Retirees (WAEA-R) will hold its eleventh annual breakfast at 9 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 28 at the Avenue Diner, Wyoming. This year there will be a breakfast buffet.

Paid reservations are required and are due by Aug. 23. Please call the WA Credit Union at 693-1339 if you plan to attend. The price is $10 which includes your $1 membership dues.

Your reservation can be withdrawn from your CU account.

Those who are unable to attend or do not belong to the CU, can send a check for the dues or reservation made out to WAEA-R to WAFCU, 800 Wyoming Avenue, Wyoming, Pa. 18644.

There will be door prizes and special favors.

The current officers are President Phil Russo, Vice-President Steve Harmanos, Treasurer Gloria Lawler and Secretary Sandy Touw.
