DUPONT LIONS
The Dupont Lions will hold their first meeting on Monday, Sept. 9 at the VFW Post home beginning at 6:30 p.m. The Lions Club will hold their annual installation of officers for the Lions and Leo Clubs on Monday, Sept. 30 at the VFW Post 4909. Contact Nancy Cronick to make your reservation.
VFW MEETING
VFW Post 4909, Dupont, will hold their next meeting on Monday Sept. 9 at 7:30 p.m. at the post home. Commander Gary Carwardine will preside. The home association meeting will follow.
Food, refreshments and camaraderie will occur after both meetings.
FLU SHOTS
Dr Martin Moran, Sr. D.O. Family Medicine, 217 Lackawanna Ave., Dupont, announces that flu shots will be available on Thursday,Sept. 12 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. and on Monday, Sept. 16 from 5:30-7:30 p.m. No appointment is needed just walk-in. Flu vaccines are covered by most insurances but check with your provider to confirm coverage. For additional information contact Dr. Moran’s office at 570-654-2901.
PACC MEETING
The Polish American Citizens Club of Elm Street Dupont, will hold the regular monthly meeting at 2 p.m. on Sunday, Sept, 15 at the Club home.
PACC Active members are encouraged to attend. Refreshments will be served after the meeting.
