The Little Flowers Girls’ Club of Holy Rosary School held a Mother/Daughter Tea and Awards Ceremony recently.

The Little Flowers Girls’ Club is a Catholic club for girls that teaches virtues through scripture, saints’ biographies and the Catechism of the Catholic Church.

All gathered enjoyed an evening complete with May Crowning and awards ceremonies, tea with an appearance by the Ladies of Queen Victoria’s Court, followed by a modesty fashion show presented by the Little Flowers, and finally, dinner and dessert.

One of the evening’s many highlights included The Little Flowers being recognized and awarded by Laura Meade, activities director of Riverside Rehab Nursing Center, Taylor, as Community Volunteers of the Year.

Under the guidance of Mrs. Chris Mazaleski, the Little Flowers also requested that each guest bring at least one brand new or gently-used children’s clothing item for donation to the Kids’ Closet of St. John the Evangelist Church.
