The local Rock Solid AAU girls basketball team recently participated in the State Games of American this past weekend in Hershey. The State Games of America is an Olympic-Style event featuring competition among many different sports.
The locals took home a silver medal for their accomplishments.
The State Games of America takes place once every two years, this being only the second time in the State Games historyt it was held on the East Coast. In 2015, it will be held in Lincoln, Neb. The event featured over 25 different sporting events.
