A record from the golden age of Pittston Area track and field was broken Wednesday when Ronnie D’Eliseo ran a 14.5 in the 110 hurdles versus Coughlin at Charley Trippi Stadium.

D’Eliseo broke the school record of 14.6 set by Jack Goldowski in 1981. Goldowski also has the 300 hurdle record at

38.56. D’Eliseo may have a shot at breaking that before the season runs out. He ran a 39.20 300 hurdles last year at states and won it with a 40 flat on Wednesday. As the weather heats up, he should lower that.
