Melissa Ann Maros and Julio Paul Caprari were united in marriage on Saturday, Nov. 15, 2014, at St. John the Evangelist Parish, Pittston by Msgr. John Bendik.
The bride is the daughter of Mark Maros, Old Forge, and Ann Maros, Avoca. She is the granddaughter of Stanley and Carol Maros and the late Robert and Lucille Burke.
The groom is the son of Paul and Paula Caprari, Pittston. He is the grandson of Theresa Caprari and the late Samuel Caprari and the late Stanley and Camille Patchoski.
The bride was given away by her father. Melissa chose her sisters Laura Maros and Lynn Mursch as maid of honor and matron of honor, respectively.
Bridesmaids were Helene Caprari and Aniell Nyzio, sisters of the groom; Kerri Avvisato, Yvonne Cavalieri, Melanie Murosky and Kara Taylor, friends of the bride. Junior Bridesmaid was Bailey Loyack, goddaughter of the groom.
The best men were Paul and Nick Caprari, brothers of the groom.
Groomsmen were Mark Maros, brother of the bride; Joe Caprari, cousin of the bridegroom; Steve Loyack, Bill Guerin, Bob Guerin, and Steve Brazon, friends of the groom.
The flower girls were Margaret Caprari, niece of the groom, and Ashlyn Loyack. The ring bearer was Matthew Mursch Jr., godson of the bride.
A reception was held at St. Anthony’s Center, Exeter, following the ceremony.
The bride is a 2001 graduate of Bishop Hannan High School and attended Keystone College and King’s College. She is employed by the Ken Pollock Auto Group, Pittston.
The groom is a 1998 graduate of Seton Catholic High School. He graduated from Wilkes University and obtained a master’s degree from California University of Pennsylvania. Julio is owner of Caprari Media and works at his family’s store, Duchess Outlet, Pittston.
The couple resides in Pittston with their dog Carlo.
