Mr. and Mrs. Anthony Schifano, Old Forge, celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, March 5.
Mrs. Schifano is the former Johanna “Cookie” Guarnieri, daughter of the late Sam and Marie Guarnieri, Pittston. Mr. Schifano is the son of the late Joseph and Helen Schifano, Pittston.
The couple has three children, Anthony, Old Forge; Christine Paroby and husband Stephen, Old Forge; and Joseph, Binghamton, New York. They have been blessed with one grandson, Jacob Paroby, who celebrated his ninth birthday on Feb. 27.
A family dinner marked the occasion.
