Mr. and Mrs. Fred Mecadon, Exeter, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, April 30. They were married in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, Pittston by Father John Cordoro, O.S.J.
Their attendants were the late Albert (Babe) Mecadon and the late Diane Massara Fusco.
Mrs. Mecadon is the former Anita Massara, daughter of the late James and Margaret Massara, Pittston. Mr. Mecadon is the son of the late Albert and Alice Mecadon, Pittston.
The couple has three children, Fred and his wife, Rita, New Jersey; Anthony, Philadelphia; and Michele Lex and her husband Joe, Pittsburgh. They have three grandchildren: Henry, Natalie and Isaac Lex of Pittsburgh.
