Mrs. Valya Pace Vacula celebrated her 90th birthday on Friday, Jan. 6. She is the daughter of the late Anthony and Rose (Saccicia) Pace, the wife of the late Andrew (Sooner) Vacula and the sister of the late Olga Jurosky and James Pace. She has been blessed with two children, Tom Vacula and his wife, Mary, and Rosemary Gitkos and husband, Ron. She also has 3 granddaughters, Keri Ann Gitkos Vermac, Joyell Gitkos Campbell and Tracie Vacula. Mrs. Vacula is retired from Del Mar Sportswear in Pittston and later worked at McDonald’s in Wyoming. She is often be seen walking her great grand dog, Bella, along the streets of Exeter.
