Jennifer Annarose Alaimo and Michael Joseph Molinaro were united in marriage at 2 p.m. Saturday, Aug. 1, 2015 at Saint John the Evangelist Church, Pittston. The ceremony was officiated by the Rev. James Cortegerone.

Ceremony readings were performed by Annarose Salvo, aunt of the bride, and Jennifer Chapman, friend of the bride.

The bride’s parents hosted a cocktail hour and reception at the Woodlands Inn and Resort, Wilkes-Barre. The groom’s parents hosted a rehearsal dinner at Arturo’s Restaurant, Dupont.

The bride is the daughter of John and Maureen Alaimo of Pittston Township. She is the granddaughter of the late Roscoe and Margaret Mulcahy of Pittston and the late Samuel and Lillian Alaimo of Wyoming. The groom is the son of Joseph and Debra Molinaro of Dalton. He is the grandson of Tona Whitford of Newton-Ransom and the late Frederick and Rose Molinaro of Carbondale.

The bride was given in marriage by her father and chose her cousin Lisa Zelinski of Exeter, as the maid of honor. Bridesmaids included Amy Proctor of Evergreen, Colorado; Amy Biduck of San Francisco, California; Julie Molinaro of Dalton; Stacey Singer of Pittston and Marena Piccillo of Philadelphia. The flower girls included the nieces of the bride and groom, Molly Alaimo of Pittston; Autumn Proctor and Anastasia Proctor of Evergreen, Colorado.

Matthew Molinaro of Dalton and Matthew Hill of Tampa, Florida, served as the two best men. Groomsmen included Steven Proctor of Evergreen, Colorado; Brian Chapman of Pittston; Ryan Gerrity of Dalton; and Michael McGuigan of Dalton. Ushers included the brothers of the bride, Jeffrey Alaimo of Pittston; Michael Alaimo of Pittston Township and Jonathan Alaimo of Pittston Township.

The bride is a graduate of Pittston Area School District. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in psychology from Wilkes University and Masters of Science degree in school counseling from The University of Scranton. Jennifer is employed at the Pittston Area School District as a secondary school counselor. Michael is a graduate of Lackawanna Trail High School in Factoryville. He received his Bachelor of Science degree from the Pennsylvania State University in surveying engineering and continued his education at Drexel University in mathematics education. Michael is employed at Kleinfelder Incorporated as a professional land surveyor.

The bride’s mother honored her by hosting a wedding shower at Fox Hill Country Club in Exeter and her parents held a post wedding luncheon on Sunday at their home in Pittston Township.

Jennifer and Michael honeymooned at their favorite vacation spot in Cape Cod, Massachusetts with their dog Louie.
