Mona Lotfipour is the recipient of the Alliance Medical Education Scholarship offered through The Foundation of the Pennsylvania Medical Society. Lotfipour, daughter of Asghar and Narges Lotfipour of Trucksville is a medical student at Penn State University College of Medicine. Earlier this year, she was also named the Scott A. Gunder, MD, Dauphin County Medical Society Presidential Scholarship recipient through The Foundation of the Pennsylvania Medical Society. She will receive $2,500 to apply to her tuition.
James J. Bresnahan is the recipient of the Barbara Prendergast Alliance Medical Education Scholarship offered through The Foundation of the Pennsylvania Medical Society. Bresnahan, son of Donna and Jeff Rodgers of Exeter is a medical student at Penn State University College of Medicine. He intends to specialize in orthopedic surgery or emergency medicine. He will receive $2,500 to apply to his tuition.
