Credit union members accepted a challenge

Service First Federal Credit Union members took part in a community savings challenge that benefited their financial lives as well as some great local organizations, including Candy’s Place, located in Forty Fort, who was presented with a $1,350 donation. Service 1st members took part in a financial checkup followed by the opportunity to vote for one of six community organizations. Combined, Service 1st members saved over $1.1 million. Other organizations to receive donations were the Animal Resource Center, Bloomsburg; The Donald Heiter Community Center, Lewisburg; Caring for Kids, Sunbury; Firetree Place, Williamsport and Kelsey’s Dream, Mifflinburg.
