DALLAS TWP. — The Misericordia Players will present the Pulitzer Prize-winning comedy, “You Can’t Take It With You,” at 8 p.m. in Lemmond Theater in Walsh Hall from Thursday, March 17 until Friday, March 19.

Considered one of the most popular and successful plays of modern times, the comedy by Moss Hart and George S. Kaufman centers on the freethinking Sycamore family and the mayhem that ensues when their daughter’s fiancé brings his conservative, straight-laced parents to dinner on the wrong night. The original production premiered on Broadway in 1936 and played for more than 800 performances.

Tickets are available at the door and cost is $5 for general admission and $3 for senior citizens, Misericordia students and alumni.
