WILKES-BARRE: First Home Care Foster Care & Adoption Agency will host information sessions in conjunction with the Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber of Commerce for foster care and adoption services.
Events will take place from 10:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. on Wednesday at the Greater Wilkes-Barre Chamber office, 2 Public Square, Wilkes-Barre.
Another session will be held from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday at the Law Center on Main (near the Pittston YMCA), 39 S. Main St., Pittston.
First Home Care was established to provide loving and nurturing family environments for children and youth with a history of out-of-home behavioral health treatment. There is a need in Luzerne and surrounding counties and the organization is currently seeking individuals and families to participate in the foster care and adoption program.
