WYOMING — Efforts to find a borough man who has been missing since Labor Day night will continue on Friday, Mayor Bob Boyer said Thursday night.
Charles Edward Stark, 51, was last seen at his Seventh Street home at about 8 p.m. on Monday, and his disappearance had touched off a large search effort on Wednesday. Police said Stark was last seen operating a new, rust colored 10-speed bike.
“It has been a pretty extensive search, but it really didn’t yield anything at all,” Boyer said of efforts on land and along the Susquehanna River.
Stark is white, 6 feet 1 inch tall, with brown hair and green eyes. He was last seen wearing a white long-sleeved T shirt, blue and white checkered shorts and blue sneakers.
Anyone with information is asked to contact 911, or borough police at 570-693-2650.
