DALLAS — Larry Pellegrini, Pittston Township, recently completed a two-week Institute for Management and Leadership in Education program at the Harvard University Graduate School of Education.

The 13-day program teaches participants to understand what aspects of the institutional mission and culture are critical to future success and how to close the gap between best intentions and what can actually be accomplished, according to Harvard University.

Pellegrini, B.A., director of Corporate, Government and Foundation Relations at Misericordia University since 2007, has helped to shape the most significant period of growth in the institution’s 91-year history by raising significant funding from numerous sources in support of building, infrastructure, academic and acquisition projects on the upper and lower campuses.

He has also been recognized for his fundraising efforts by being awarded an Exemplary Service Award in 2012. In 2014, he received the Outstanding Fundraising Professional Award from the Northeastern Pennsylvania Chapter, Association of Fundraising Professionals.
