Morning commuters in the Wyoming Valley can expect mostly free-flowing traffic with the exception of a few congested areas.

Interstate 81 North in the area of the Pittston/Dupont Exit 175 is heavily congested, which includes the on and off ramps. Wilkes-Barre Boulevard, in both directions, is experiencing moderate traffic, while Route 315 and the North Cross Valley Expressway are congestion-free.

The rest of Interstate 81 and the Memorial Highway in the Back Mountain is moving freely.

Commuters traveling on Wyoming Avenue between Kingston and Swoyersville can expect minor and heavy congestion throughout the morning.

The South Cross Valley Expressway is also moving freely. North River Street in Wilkes-Barre, in the area of the Wilkes-Barre General Hospital has moderate congestion at times.
