Mostly sunny skies and cooler temperatures can be expected for the Wyoming Valley for the upcoming days.

The National Weather Service reported that it was 44 degrees at 6:54 a.m. at the Scranton/Wilkes-Barre International Airport.

Mostly cloudy skies with a high of 71 degrees can be expected for today with tonight’s temperature dipping down to 54 degrees with cloudy skies.

Wednesday morning will be cloudy, but eventually give way to sunny skies with a high of 69 degrees before dropping to 47 degrees at night.

A sunny day with a high of 65 degrees can be expected for Thursday with a mostly cloudy evening and temperatures dipping down to a low of 50 degrees.
